Guardian Gnome Manual

Installation

1. Download the setup executable
   
2. Execute the setup
3. Run Guardian Gnome Control Panel
4. Add program to be executed as service by pressing '...'-button and browsing the executable or bat file.
5. Fill in name and arguments. Password is only needed if web interface is used for managing the service. Web interface is not available in the download because of security problems it may cause if used without proper care. Post to forums if you interested in obtaining the web interface for Guardian Gnome or email to tommi.s.e.laukkanen at gmail. 

Known Problems

1. You should not try to execute bat files which launch the actual executable using guardian gnome as windows does not offer mechanism for tracking and killing child processes. Instead launch the executable file directly or use a script which will terminate itself if child process dies and which will also terminate the child process if the script process is requested to exit.
